The Cortland Basketball Club [C.B.C] is a Not -For -Profit [501 C 3] organization which will positively affect and inspire the boys and girls of our communities.The C.B.C. offers a program which provides positive role models to inspire our children to reach their goals on and off the court.

The C.B.C. teaches the fundamentals of the game while incorporating , fair play, dedication, commitment and positive values of family ,team and life. The C.B.C.'s wish is to assist each child to be proud, positive and concerned not only with basketball, but with being a role model for other youth both on and off the court. The C.B.C.has an open line of communication with parents and stresses education as our most important task.

The C.B.C. is open to all ideas and suggestions on how to improve our mission and commitment to our youth.

FUNDRAISING
Players are required to participate in all C.B.C. sponsored fundraisers. An adult representative from each player's family must be present at every fundraiser.

NOTE:
The C.B.C. does not seek to interfere with family activities, religious observances, school projects or any other activity that would prevent participation in a fundraiser. The extent that the money raised from the fundraiser will go to each player, it is imperative that all concerned will be at the event. The C.B.C. will make every effort to avoid scheduling fundraisers during holiday weekends or on Sunday mornings.
